One of the best books I’ve ever read in relation to the Divine Feminine!
This was an amazing book. So much valuable information for such a short book. It really stresses the importance of unconditionally loving every emotion that you have.

Inspiring!
I would recommend this to anyone who is on a Spiritual path, especially when learning about or considering the Divine Feminine. I’ve re-read chapters numerous times just because they are so powerful and each time I get something else from it. I hope she has written other books, I’d love to read them.

Wrote with the art of keeping the reader interested
Did a lot of research and has a good way of putting the story on paper.
Will read more by this author.

Practical Guidelines to a More Compassionate Life
Practical advice from Misa Hopkins, inspirational author of Sacred Feminine Awakening: The Emergence of Compassion. I very much enjoyed section with advice like, “Have you noticed how you calm down and your mind becomes quieter when you take a long walk in nature? Have you ever given yourself permission to pour a cup of tea and just watch the sunrise or sunset? What happens when you slow down long enough to take a nice hot bath? There are many ways to quiet the mind. Silent meditation is one of them, and ultimately if you want to experience the depths of the Sacred Feminine, at some point you will want that much stillness.”
Misa is so good at creating communities that support awakening and consciousness so that we can each live with more understanding and compassion for ourselves. This book helped me create greater compassion for myself and move out into the world in a more powerful way.
In Sacred Feminine Awakening: The Emergence of Compassion, Misa is also not about changing or fixing as much as about understanding oneself and what we are each capable of. Early on in the book she says, “Do not try to fix or change your feeling, for that would dishonor the wisdom that lives within the limit of that feeling. Simply be with this feeling, acknowledging that it seems to be limiting your life. As you hold it, feel compassion for it. If compassion is difficult for you, reflect on a moment with a child or an animal in which compassion was easy for you to access. Imagine how you would hold a child or animal in pain, and then hold your feeling in the same way. Simply be in compassion. Do nothing, except be with it.”

Insightful & inspiring for a more balanced life
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book because at first I thought it would be focused on praising women and our nurturing faculties. Misa Hopkins brings more than that into this book on awakening both sides of our natures — both the feminine and the masculine no matter what “gender” your physical body is! We all need to find a healthy balance, and the state of our world today shows that it’s gone too far in the “masculine” direction. By integrating our yin/yang male/female powers and positive aspects, we can create a healthier climate not only in our personal lives but in the global community. I highly recommend this book. Ms Hopkins makes it easy to understand a complex subject without having to wade through long textbooks to get to the heart of the information. This short book is a real gem!
