Happy 2017!
Every now and then Jeffrey asks me to explore my talents in a way that has never occurred to me. He’s been scheduling people’s New Years Private Readings, and over breakfast he asked if I could do a reading for the United States. I hadn’t done one before, but decided to give it a try.
For those of you concerned about the anger, stress and violence that came with this year’s election in the U.S., I believe you will be as pleased with the core message of the reading.
I’m sure it is no surprise to you that we hold the keys to calmer relations in the U.S. Here it is:
This is an auspicious time in which swift action is necessary, putting an an end to any delays to furthering greater consciousness.
This nation is facing its selfish desires, greed, rigid thinking, abusive tendencies—ultimately, its enslaving beliefs.
Therefore, this is a time for liberation from the past abuses of the patriarchy, by forgiving ourselves for our collective, unthoughtful actions, and solidly establishing a path of altruism, generosity and compassion.
The nation’s core fear is about being left behind. The thought of losing position is terrifying. It will fight to be first—to be the superpower—and it is willing to bully others, animals and the earth to gain or maintain position.
The healing comes as we expand our definitions of success to include values beyond money and materialism.
The nation heals as the energies and values of the Sacred Feminine balance out a patriarchy gone wild, and a government meeting its own needs at the expense of its people.
The nation heals as its people remain mindful that ulterior motives need to be based in virtues—virtues that include compassion, unconditional love, patience and understanding, healing and communication among all its people.
The nation heals as its people remind themselves not to become overly attached to things, and to become more concerned about quality of life for everyone.
It is important not to dwell on past hurts, but to allow the wounds of powerlessness to heal, as people embrace positive acts of empowerment.
A death must occur for the light of truth to become apparent. As people face who they truly are—what they consider to be both beautiful and ugly—accepting all in love, they become free of their judgments and the fear of somehow being left behind.
The way in which this nation moves through its death with grace happens as it embraces its compassion and creativity.
Winning at all costs is the negative expression of ambition and is a hollow victory. The consequences to self and others do indeed matter.
It is time to lay down the cold steel blade of words and choices that cut others to the core.
When the blade is on the ground, winning can be defined as the capacity to be in kindness and grace with anyone. Success can be defined as quality of life for all.
Each person is called to bring forth their love and creativity in service to creating new experiences of success and winning that honor all beings upon this earth, and the earth herself.
Thank you for allowing me to share this with you. We are the change we wish to see in the world aren’t we?

I completely agree. The climate and government are reflecting our collective denials but I see the beauty of us all waking each other up and coming together like we really really want. I have moments of forgetting when feeling the chaos and pain others are feeling right now but then I remember then beauty in the chaos and how it is necessary for the rebirth we are experiencing. Thank you
So much Mother Misa ♡

Treeva, I love how you see it as a rebirthing of our world. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful reflection!

I think you are spot on.
Have felt this myself for America, in fact, much of the western world.
Hopefully, in time the healing will outweigh the negative, draining, fear-filled energy that seems to be consuming many aspects of the land and its people.
LOVE is the answer, the healing balm required for our earth, animals, and people.

Karenlee,
It’s good to know that my insights align with your own. Fear is a powerful energy, but not nearly as beautiful as love. Isn’t it wonderful to realize that the great healing balm is one of the sweetest “medicines” we could ever hope for? 🙂

Dear Misa – such a beautiful reading with much to ponder. I am inspired to more deeply see in the nation all who may feel they are being left behind; to provide comfort and holding through that troublesome place…and to see it in myself when it rears it’s head.
You have taught me something wonderful during the time I’ve known you…and that is how to more freely love and to not be afraid of the power of love.
Thanks for your touch on my life and therefore, on the lives of all with whom I come in contact. Wishing you a wonderful 2017!

Amy, how lovely to know that the perceptions I receive serve you in your beautiful journey! To know that our capacity for love is limitless can be an inspiration to explore its depths each and every day in 2017! 🙂

Thank you Misa for this wonderful insight. I have been feeling that the proper response to negativity is to turn around the dialogue to the positive. What can we do to act for the better, to change the world heal the planet, the children, mend the wounds with other nations and tear down the fences? The old responses are ineffective and you are absolutely right that we are called to reach into our souls for creative solutions to bring us together in love and harmony. Sometimes disruption is necessary to help us see a new way of looking. Thank you Jeffrey for instigating this new vision.
Misa Hopkins says
Thanks Ariann. New responses and new ideas are definitely inside of us! 🙂
