We serve people all over the world and always strive to comply with internationally accepted laws and practices, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We also endeavor to keep the frequency of our communications with you modest while providing you with self-help information to inspire you in your growth. We won’t email you about anything unrelated.
We collect only the data we need to and we keep it secure using industry-standard technologies, services and practices as detailed below. In general, you have control over what information we receive. You also have control over the accuracy of that information and whether we keep it.
That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. If you want more information, read on. Terms and Scope
Our self-help offerings in health and spirituality are always evolving and are highly interrelated. MisaHopkins.com and related email transmissions are the for-profit aspect of Misa Hopkins’ self-help service. SacredFeminineAwakening.com and related transmissions are the purely spiritual, non-profit aspect of Misa’s self-help service. PrescriptionsFromHeaven.com and related email transmissions are ongoing support, inspiration and communication vehicles integral to both MisaHopkins.com and SacredFeminineAwakening.com. Being interrelated, these entities sometimes share communications to subscribers, such as Misa’s general newsletters covering all of these interests. These entities also share nearly identical privacy policies.
This Privacy Policy extends beyond our website and general emails to any private correspondence and interactions that we have with you such as personal emails, phone conversations, private sessions, and retreats.
Cookies, Tracking and Analytics
Like most websites, our site sends cookies to your browser so that we can provide you with a better experience and service. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in your device memory that helps us to improve our services and your experience, see which areas and features of our services are popular and count visits. These include session, preference and security cookies containing information about your journey as a site guest, such as IP address, geographic location, browser, device, page browsing and purchase behavior. We never place personally identifiable data in cookies.
Most modern web browsers also provide you with the tools to disable cookies at the browser level. However, please be aware that disabling cookies may compromise the online experience we have worked hard to create for you.
We may also collect information using web beacons (also known as “tracking pixels”). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in our services or emails and to track count visits or understand usage and campaign effectiveness.
We may also employ analytic technologies including tags, scripts and beacons in order to improve our service and business. For example, when someone visits our site, the third-party Google Analytics service collects anonymous standard Internet log information and details of visitor behavior. We do this to learn about things such as traffic to the various parts of the site. This information helps us understand what our visitors are interested in and is only processed in such a way that does not identify you personally. We do not make or allow Google to make any attempt to ascertain the identities of our site visitors.
Voluntary Personal Data
When you register to receive any of our services, products and/or communications, we collect personal information. In the case of free offerings, we typically request that you volunteer only your first name and email address.
When you submit a publicly visible comment, review or testimonial on our website, you implicitly give us permission to publish that information at our discretion—in which case we only display your name the exact way you provide it and without email address.
When you purchase a product or service from us, either directly or indirectly through a partner, we request the standard additional personally identifying and financial information necessary to complete and verify your purchase—no more, no less.
Voluntary Sensitive Data
When you correspond with us or request additional services such as Daily Holding, you have the option of providing additional information and/or photos as you desire.
When you submit a form to attend an event such as a retreat or workshop, we may request additional information to ensure that it’s a good match and that all qualifications are met.
Similarly, when you request personalized one-on-one services, we may request additional information that may relate to your health and spirituality as deemed necessary for successful outcomes.
Needless to say, in all these cases, we keep your information safe and strictly confidential.
Data Access by Service Providers
As stated above, we do not share your data with other entities for marketing purposes. Like most web-based services, we do contract with outside services to handle the necessary technology. We’ve linked their privacy policies below as we introduce them. For example, some of the data we acquire about you through our website resides on our hosting server at Bluehost.
Aside from our personal correspondence with you, we use an email service, GetResponse, to deliver general emails for greater efficiency. Through GetResponse, we gather statistics about the total number of emails opened and buttons pushed using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our service and communications.
When you make a purchase on our site, your data is shared with payment processors that may include PayPal, Mijireh, and CloudSwipe. MisaHopkins.com does not store credit card or other financial data. Also, if you purchase an affiliated partner’s product or service through us, we pass the relevant data on to them so that they can fulfill their obligations to you.
In the case of Daily Holding, we post your photos on Flickr in a private account solely for Misa’s review. These photos are not publicly accessible.
We may choose to add additional technical service providers at any time. Due to the global nature of many of service providers, we may transfer your personal data to and maintain it on computers located outside of your governmental jurisdiction, where the data protection laws may be different than those native to you. In all cases, we vet these technology partners to insure their adherence to the highest data security standards.
We may also use the services of other team members such as contractors, agents, virtual assistants, volunteers, and technical support professionals in order to fulfill our business obligations and provide better service. Like our technology partners, these individuals and firms are only given limited access to personal data as necessary for business and are always vetted for strict compliance with our privacy policy.

“Do Not Track” Requests
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" function that tells websites that you do not wish to have your site activity tracked.
