Elderly woman grew a new valve to her heart

redblossomBy Misa

I promised you notice about a tele-class on self-healing, and I’m hustling to get it ready for you. In the mean time, enjoy discovering yet more hope in this incredible story of healing by an elderly woman, and now—friend.

Early in my sound medicine career, I had an experience with a woman in her seventies, who had never worked with energy medicine, but her results set the standard for me in regard to what our healing potential truly can be. For the protection of her privacy, I call her Ellie in this story.

Several years ago, I was asked to assist an elderly woman that needed to strengthen her heart in preparation for surgery. One of this woman’s heart valves was not functioning well, making her heart too weak for surgery on an aneurism.

Her daughter flew me out to their home where we spent one week together working toward the simple goal of strengthening her heart. Ellie had a remarkable ability to visualize that she discovered in the process of working with me. Because she was new to energy healing, I gently guided her and supported her in trusting her visualizations.

Our regular routine was for Ellie to lie down on the couch and allow her mind to bring her a visual image of health while I sang sacred healing sounds to her. Then, before she fell asleep, she would again affirm that she had a strong heart.

I parted company at the end of the week and patiently waited to hear the results from Ellie’s next chest x-ray. The following week, the x-ray showed some remarkable results. This 70-some year old client had grown an entirely new heart valve and had been determined ready for surgery!

    Dear Misa,

I had to write you about my experiences in your Seven Steps to Healing Anything teleseminar. It's only the second class, but already with your assignments I think I may have discovered that the reason for my rapidly diminishing eyesight may be stress. In fact, doing your exercises I realized that one of the things that may increase my stress is that I don't breathe!

It seems I breathe very shallow from my upper chest. Somewhere in my childhood I believed that I only had a certain number of breaths before I would die. Obviously, I didn't want to use all my breaths up, so I taught myself that I must breathe as shallow as possible. Obviously that's wrong, but it became part of my unconscious habits.

      Sandi,

Wonderful! You are applying the principle of becoming a sacred observer in a powerful way. Many of us don't breathe fully because of traumatic experiences in our lives. So when we become tense or scared, we don't breathe. When we don't breathe our bodies become stressed and tense, and healing is limited. It's a vicious cycle. You've made a significant discovery! Deep, luscious breathes give life. Now that you are aware, you are in the perfect position to retrain your subconscious conditioning through conscious choices. Bravo, Sandi, Bravo!

      Healing Hugs,
      Misa

So, I realized that I needed to do something right away to start relaxing, but I'd never gotten really good results from other courses and stuff I tried in the past, so I got your Deep Peace CDs and started doing those meditations and it's been wonderful. I can feel my chest expanding and my relaxation getting deeper than anything else I've tried. As a topper, I come out with a sense of energy without the "edge" and a feeling of a more peaceful calmness. I still have a ways to go…especially learning to relaxing my face and jaw, but being on lesson 2 outta 7, I know that there's great breakthroughs yet to come!

What other products or services do you offer that could help me with relaxation and eliminating old negative programming?

Thanks SO much for what you do! I'm excited to continue these lessons with your guidance and support.

    Gratefully,

    Sandi

      Sandi,

Yes, indeed. As you relax, it is easier to breathe fully. Very astute observation on your part.

Sound medicine has an amazing capacity to do exactly what you described—help us relax, yet energize at the same time. Though instead of a stressful energy, it is based in an underlying rhythm of relaxation and trust. Sound Medicine, guided meditation, hypnotherapy, journeying, etc. are all ways of helping us access these profound states where we truly are in harmony with the flow of the universe.

Thanks for asking about other products and services. I so love to share them. The Breathing Your Way to Physical Freedom CD is a guided meditation I created to help people take themselves into greater states of relaxation (and you'll love this) conscious breathing. Spirit gave me this meditation when I was in so much pain I couldn't even hum medicine songs to myself. My body ached so much, but I was able to focus on my breath and use it to caress my body well. I even have a client who has successfully used this CD to address her asthma.

Depression relief is another one created to help the listener free themselves from stressful thoughts and limiting beliefs that impede life and healing. This recording is just me, singing healing sounds for the emotional body, where we often hold traumas that are limiting our ability to heal physically. You discovered how this was happening in your own journey and those traumas can have effects that kind of sneak up on us—only be uncovered when we truly become astute observers of our journey.

Lastly, I do monthly fire tele-meditations on the phone that get some remarkable responses from people. Within minutes, they are carried into meditative space where they can release old traumas and open to greater grace in their healing and in their lives.

Where do you find out about this stuff? CDs can be found at http://www.SpiritTreasures.com and you can sign-up for weekly meditations and get announcement of my tele-meditations and more at http://www.NewDreamFoundation.com

Sandi, you are getting tremendous breakthroughs in the class. Truly inspiring! You go girl!

      Healing Hugs,
      Misa

It is difficult to believe. Of course, that is why it is so important for us to stretch our beliefs regarding what we perceive is possible. Believing in the miraculous abilities that live inside each and every one of us, requires breaking through the limitations we have accepted as real. In fact, it is the way that miracles happen!

    • MisaH says:

I know. I doubted a lot of this stuff until I experienced it for myself. I think we call that—human nature! But we are much more magnificent than we realize!

  6. Huh that was weird, my comment got eaten. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that it’s nice to know that someone else also touched on this as it was troublesome finding the same information elsewhere. This was the first place that told me the answer. Much obliged.

  9. As a Newbie, I am always searching online for articles that can help me. Thank you

  10. hello good website yea nice job It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.

    • Misa says:

      Julie,

It is an interesting perspective. I’ve been doing healing work now for about 20 years, and what I have discovered is that as you begin focusing on being in loving presence with a condition or illness, at some level you have to address the core issue in order for actual healing to occur. Addressing it can be spiritual, emotional, physical or mental attention—depending on the root.

In fact, I’ve written a whole book about how getting to the root of the healing is a Divine journey, and for many it begins with attending to their desire for healing.

    • MisaH says:

In using Sound Medicine for over 20 years I have discovered it is really impossible to make substantive change without addressing why the problem is there in the first place. The wonderful thing about energy medicine practices is that they often reach to the places within us that are beyond words. Therefore you can be releasing an the cause of an issue without every rationally knowing what it is!

Eddie, thanks for your feedback. I believe that the only real wisdom any of us has lives within our truth. The deeper the truth, the deeper the wisdom. Looking forward to reading some of your own heart-felt wisdom here!

    Angelique,

I decided not to post your comment because I find it inappropriate to laugh at the spiritual and healing journeys of others. That said, I’d like to share a little insight from my own life and the times I have laughed at others. I learned that it is wise to be respectful what seems unfathomable. Because I cannot understand does not mean it is not real. After all, it was once believed that the world was flat!
