Interview with Misa Hopkins About Healing Readings

Misa's healing readings have brought clarity to people whose symptoms and treatment were not being identified by their doctors. With suggestions about where to look for the real problems, clients have found relief from seemingly mysterious conditions-like her client that had contracted a strain of Parvo-virus, an illness usually associated with animals.
When Misa meditates prior to the reading, she discovers root causes most doctors and healers don't even know to consider. Just like the story she shares about the woman whose illness and emotional turmoil stemmed back to a family curse, Misa can often detect spirit attachments and family beliefs that are creating significant problems. Then she gives her clients practical steps for releasing curses and attachments.
One of the most dramatic stories she shares came from her work with a powerful empath. This client would get tremendous migraine headaches, seemingly out of nowhere. They weren't related to her hormonal changes, stress or sinuses — some of the typical sources of migraines. When Misa meditated with her, she had a vision of a volcano exploding. As she continued to work with her client, she finally discovered that her client got migraine headaches whenever an actual volcano was about to explode on the earth. Her client had a healing gift intended to be used in helping Mother Earth. As soon as Misa explained to her that she needed to energetically assist the earth, and her client began doing energy healing for volcanoes, the headaches vanished.
After the interview...
Misa shared with me something I thought was a really important insight. She told me that unused gifts can be a source of illness and pain. Here is what she shared.
Some of the pain her clients' experiences are side-effects from not using their gifts. The resistance in their bodies, from not using their healing energy or their spiritual talents, was backing up internally, turning into emotional distress and physical illness.
One woman had hands that would get extremely hot, swell up and ache, for no reason. It was creating immense discomfort, and made no sense to her at all until Misa explained that her hands got hot when she needed healing for herself or someone nearby needed healing. Finally, the woman had a context for her aching hands and realized this was one of her primary healing gifts — healing energy that transmitted through her hands.
Another woman needed only to enter a room full of people and her very presence was healing for them. Because she didn't recognize or understand her gift and how to be with it properly, she was experiencing significant and unexplainable physical pain. When Misa explained how the gift worked, she also explained what the woman needed to do to prevent herself from taking on other people's pain.
And she reminded me about the story she shared in the video about the powerful empath literally channeling volcanic explosions.
These are levels of energetic awareness that most of us don't tend to recognize, and yet in some cases with Misa's clients, physical pain and discomfort were actually by-products of not recognizing or knowing how to properly use their energetic healing gifts.
Most of us don't even know what our unique gifts are, let alone how to use them — for healing, for life, for anything — because no one knew to help us...
Take a moment with me and imagine you were growing up in an indigenous village where everyone knew, from the time you were born, to look for your unique energy gifts and spiritual talents!
As Misa points out in the video, in your village, there would have been a medicine person or shaman...whose was paying attention to the spiritual gifts each child carried when they came into the world. This person would have helped your parents understand how to nurture your spiritual gifts.
Then that shaman, that guide, was there to support the parents in the process of training you!
The shaman or medicine person would have watched for your sensitivities. For example if you were an empath or you were the person who conducted energy through your hands, they would have seen it.
Had Misa grown up in that village, her gift for sound healing and her ability to recognize people's gifts would have been noticed from the time she was little. The shaman would have heard her singing songs to her brothers and sisters to ease their pain or help them sleep and would have said, "Ah, she has some medicine there. She's not just singing. She is singing to comfort, heal and soothe." Her gift would have been recognized and she would have been taught how to best use her sound medicine for her own healing and to help others.
The shaman would have noticed how Misa seemed to be able to help children identify their talents, even when they didn't recognize their gifts themselves. The shaman would have tutored her to help her develop her gift so that she could be of greater service to others as she grew older.
Your gifts would have been recognized too...
And when you get recognized at a young age like that, and your gifts are being reinforced, you grow up knowing how to use them...and you grow up having a better sense of who you are.
But in our modern culture, not only do we not look for these gifts, in many cases we are actually discouraged from exploration.
Did your mother, father or any family member or any member of your community look for your gifts? Nurture them? If you did, you have much to be grateful for. You have lived a uniquely blessed life.
If not, you may have come to an awareness of your gifts spontaneously; perhaps later in your adulthood as Misa did. Maybe when you expressed your concerns about how to be with your gifts you heard, "You'll just need to learn how to deal with that," which of course really meant, "Suppress it." Maybe you never did discover what your gifts were.
People in these difficult situations have often been suppressing their gifts most of their lives, and...your gifts are keys to your healing path and your life path!
You can stop looking for a miracle cure...
By discovering and using your talent, you can stop looking for the miracle cure, and as Misa says, "Create your miracles from the inside out."
